Job Overview

Deutsche Bank Technology in Berlin is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join its global team of tech specialists. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in the development of strategic deal management platforms and their integrations within the IT landscape.

About the Role

  • Take charge of the end-to-end implementation of application services, ensuring smooth integration with both upstream and downstream systems.
  • Design and execute automation solutions for Trade Finance & Lending workflows, contributing to the development of our deal management framework, as well as the ecosystem of surrounding services.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and fellow technologists to achieve robust system designs.
  • Partner with the QA team to advance test automation strategies and with DevOps to enhance continuous improvements in SDLC and environment management.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Core Java, including its standard library, industry-standard frameworks, and design patterns.
  • Solid understanding of the modern SDLC tool stack, including Bitbucket, Jira, Artifactory, TeamCity, and similar platforms.
  • Readiness to work in an Agile environment, adapting to changes quickly and delivering fast results.
  • Proven experience in the design and delivery of highly complex systems is advantageous.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
