About the OpportunityWe are seeking an exceptional VP of Engineering to join our team in Munich. As a leader in the PropTech industry, we empower individuals and teams to achieve their full potential through efficient, fully digital processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing engineering operations, ensuring timely and high-quality software delivery, and driving growth through scalable solutions.
Responsibilities- Lead engineering team operations and execute product development.
- Optimize engineering processes and implement best practices.
- Manage and scale the engineering team, focusing on hiring, training, and development locally and remotely.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical efforts with company goals.
- Ensure timely and high-quality software delivery within budget.
- Oversee technology infrastructure and related operations to ensure robustness, security, and scalability.
- 10+ years of experience as a software engineer and 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience and up-to-date hands-on skills in developing a SaaS product with deep understanding of cloud DevOps practices, continuous delivery pipelines, modern/public-API development, and single page application development.
- Experience in scaling teams and processes.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a focus on mentoring and team development.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical vision and strategy to various stakeholders.
- Native or bilingual speaker level in German and English (C1).
