Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrument Control Software Engineer to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement complex control flow for analytical instruments in a collaborative environment.
  • Develop and implement computationally efficient algorithms for digital signal processing, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Develop procedures for instrument calibration and performance evaluation, ensuring accuracy and reliability in the calibration process.
  • Collaborate with software colleagues to prototype, implement, and test new and existing software features, prioritizing software quality.
  • Play a key role in the product development process by creating and maintaining comprehensive and transparent documents.
Requirements
  • Strong background in software development and control systems.
  • Experience with digital signal processing and algorithm development.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
