We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Manager to join our team at the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences. As a key member of our department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the director and contributing to the success of our research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the director in managing the department and overseeing various research projects
  • Represent the director in internal and external communications, ensuring effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement
  • Participate in organizing departmental activities, events, and initiatives to promote research excellence
  • Prepare scientific documents, presentations, and reports to support research efforts and communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Develop and implement a social media strategy to maintain our online presence and engage with the scientific community
  • Create and update content for our departmental website to showcase our research and achievements
Requirements:
  • PhD degree in natural sciences or medicine
  • Proficiency in English and German
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with social media management and content creation is an asset
