Cloud Security Engineer Role

As a Cloud Security Engineer at CompuGroup Medical, you will be responsible for ensuring and continuously improving the security of our cloud infrastructure. You will be the specialist for cloud security topics and contribute to implementing and continuously developing the company's security requirements for cloud infrastructures.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and operating Kubernetes environments with a focus on consulting, implementation, and maintenance of Kubernetes security solutions together with the product units within CompuGroup Medical.
  • Implementation of a high degree of automation in the rollout and operation of security solutions (GitOps, IaC).
  • Implementation of all cloud security measures to fulfill the requirements of audits (e.g., C5, ISO27001).
  • Closely cooperating with the Information Security department.
  • Provision and rollout of updates, patches, and new product versions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the planning, implementation, and management of cloud solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, on-prem solutions).
  • Sound knowledge of network and data security, as well as virtualization technologies.
  • Experience with compliance and audit processes.
  • Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages is advantageous.
  • Sound knowledge of Kubernetes.
  • Experience in the automation of cloud services and the use of DevOps methods.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
