About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in the Health and Social Development sector. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the acquisition of new projects, implementation, and financial backstopping of ongoing projects in the field of Health and Social Development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify project opportunities and contribute to strategic business development in the department.
  • Manage and coordinate the acquisition process, including conducting early intelligence and fact-finding, forming consortia, drafting technical concepts and proposal methodologies, preparing project budgets, identifying suitable experts, and negotiating fees and project shares.
  • Monitor project activities on site, ensuring compliance with formal specifications and procedures, supervising and managing project staff and resources.
  • Exchange with clients, beneficiaries, consortium partners, and experts during project implementation.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate academic degree in the fields of public health, economics, social science, or similar.
  • Very good language skills in English, both written and spoken. Russian, French, or Spanish language skills are an asset.
  • Proven international experience, preferably gained through work experience in developing countries or economies in transition.
  • Prior experience in managing development cooperation projects with multilateral or bilateral donors, and familiarity with donor procedures and requirements.
  • Prior experience in drafting concept notes and technical methodologies, preparing project budgets, and participating in calls for tenders.
  • Prior experience in social protection, health financing, health infrastructure, or social development is a strong asset.
  • Prior experience in financial management of projects and tracking project resources is an asset.
  • Ability to use communication skills to interact with multinational teams, project beneficiaries, and clients across different time zones.
  • Ability to prioritize actions and tasks and meet tight deadlines.
