Industrial Sales Director for Wastewater Treatment Solutions

As an Industrial Sales Director for Wastewater Treatment Solutions, you will lead customer relationship management efforts and develop new customers for Specialty Treatment Solutions (STS), a subsidiary of Aerzen USA Corp.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calls on end-use customers, engineering firms, and OEMs to influence their purchasing specifications to include STS products.
- Develops new customers within the market/region and finds new applications for STS products.
- Effectively manages relationships with key customer accounts, understanding their needs, and providing customized solutions.
- Provides ongoing support to clients, including system troubleshooting, upgrades, and maintenance advice.
- Prepares/presents quotations and bid submittals and coordinates support as required for pre-bid meetings and follow-up.
- Delivers clear and persuasive presentations and product demonstrations to diverse audiences.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field is required. Relevant experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
Industry Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of wastewater treatment processes, technologies, and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with winery operations, including types of waste generated and specific challenges related to winery wastewater.
Technical Expertise:
Knowledge of different wastewater treatment technologies and their applications in wineries. Ability to understand and discuss system design, installation, and maintenance with clients and technical teams. Awareness of local, state, and federal regulations regarding wastewater discharge and treatment in the winery industry.
Sales Experience:
3 years of experience in selling industrial equipment is required. Direct experience with the California wine industry is preferred. Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies tailored to the wastewater treatment market. Proficiency in technical sales, including explaining complex systems and solutions to non-technical clients. B2B sales experience, particularly in selling high-value, technical products and solutions.
Customer Service:
Strong skills in managing client relationships, understanding their needs, and providing customized solutions. Providing ongoing support to clients, including system troubleshooting, upgrades, and maintenance advice.
Business Acumen:
Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and understand competitive dynamics. Experience in managing sales budgets, forecasting sales performance, and achieving financial targets.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
