Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Architect to join our team at Knauf Group. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing comprehensive Salesforce solutions that drive business growth and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements, translating them into clear technical specifications and solutions.
  • Design and implement Salesforce solutions, including data models, custom applications, and integrations, that meet scalability, performance, and security standards.
  • Lead the architecture and implementation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring they align with business needs and best practices.
  • Provide ongoing guidance on Salesforce best practices, platform capabilities, and constraints, and stay up-to-date with new releases and functionalities.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and administrators, overseeing the development of customizations and integrations, and creating technical documentation and training materials for users.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in Salesforce architecture and implementation, supplemented by certifications such as Certified Technical Architect, Certified Application Architect, or Certified System Architect.
  • Proven experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and strong knowledge of the Salesforce data model, security, and performance.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and integration tools like MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, fluency in English (ideally German), and willingness to travel occasionally to KNAUF sites worldwide.
