Job Summary
The Universitätsklinikum Bonn is seeking a highly motivated PhD student to join our research team in the field of intestinal inflammation research. As a PhD student, you will be responsible for conducting research in the area of intestinal wound healing and regeneration, with a focus on the role of specific immune cells in the colon and mesenteric and visceral fat.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in intestinal wound healing and regeneration using state-of-the-art methods, including spatial imaging and RNA sequencing at single cell level
- Analyze the role of fatty-acid-derived mediators and immunological response in colonic and fat tissues
- Collaborate with our research team to design and implement experiments
- Present research findings at national and international conferences
Requirements
- PhD in a relevant field, such as immunology, cell biology, or molecular biology
- Strong background in research and laboratory techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
