Tax Governance and Compliance Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Tax Governance and Compliance Manager to join our team at Mazars GmbH & Co. KG. As a key member of our tax advisory team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance to our national and international clients on implementing tax governance and compliance structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead tax advisory projects to analyze and optimize process and control flows, and design and implement corporate governance systems.
  • Manage projects to develop internal audit units in the tax department, assess the quality of tax audit functions, and conduct tax audits.
  • Develop and implement tax digitalization solutions and integrate ESG requirements into our service offerings.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in tax advisory or audit with a focus on tax.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of tax laws and regulations, with a focus on corporate tax, international tax, and transfer pricing.
  • Ability to communicate complex tax concepts to clients and stakeholders.
