Weight and Balance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Weight and Balance Engineer to join our team at OSB AG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of weight and balance data for our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and analyze mass-relevant data for Tornado and Eurofighter aircraft
- Calculate mass, volume, surface area, and center of gravity coordinates using CATIA V5 analysis functions
- Measure and calculate part dimensions from drawings in CATIA
- Test modifications and upgrades based on assembly drawings and verify calculated part masses against target values
- Enter mass-relevant data into various databases
- Conduct material and part studies, and test RFAs and modifications
- Coordinate RFA creation for Tornado with system engineers
- Provide mass properties support for Eurofighter as needed, and respond to customer mass-related inquiries
- Prepare and evaluate aircraft weighings, and oversee weighings on-site at customer locations
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
- Relevant experience in mass properties or aircraft design, statics, MDO, or loads
- Knowledge of standards, drawing processes, and bill of materials
- Proficiency in MS-Access, MS-Excel, MS-Office, MS-PowerPoint, and MS-Word, as well as Catia V5
- Knowledge of VPM and Teamcenter (PDM system)
- Fluent German and English language skills
