Join Our Team as a Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at Internistisches Zentrum Heimstetten. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical team in delivering high-quality healthcare services.

About the Role

  • Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including taking vital signs and updating medical records
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and handling patient communications
  • Assist with laboratory tests and procedures, including phlebotomy and EKGs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical setting, preferably as a Medical Assistant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification required
