Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist to join our team at Bayerische Polizei. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our mobile device infrastructure, including configuration, administration, training, and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain Windows servers and clients, including installation and administration.
  • Administer Active Directory and ensure its smooth operation.
  • Install and configure servers, network components, and clients.
  • Participate in IT projects and contribute to their successful implementation.
  • Analyze and structure complex IT-related issues.
  • Work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
  • Provide excellent customer service and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Meet the requirements for a security-sensitive position within the Bavarian State Police.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies.
  • Be willing to work outside regular working hours in exceptional cases or during special operations.
  • Hold a valid driver's license (Class B).
Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field (Diploma or Bachelor's degree).
  • Excellent IT skills, including Windows 10/11 and MS Office.
  • Desirable expertise in mobile devices, Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, and PowerShell.
  • Ability to analyze and structure complex IT-related issues.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Absolutely impeccable reputation due to the sensitive nature of the position within the Bavarian State Police.

The position will be filled on a full-time basis (40.10 hours per week) in accordance with the Collective Agreement for the Public Service of the Länder (TV-L). The salary will be in pay grade 9b TV-L, with relevant professional experience taken into account for the assignment within pay grade 9b TV-L.

In the event of meeting the requirements for a civil service position, it is possible to be taken into a civil service relationship at the 3rd qualification level (QE). The 45th birthday must not be exceeded at the time of taking up the civil service relationship.

The position has a value of A9/A11.

The Police Headquarters of Lower Bavaria points out that an invitation to an interview is dependent on the consent to a security check (in accordance with Article 60a (5) and Article 61 (1) sentence 2 PAG) and the positive completion of this check.
