Student Assistant MEAL Team

Welcome to Welthungerhilfe, a leading organization for development cooperation and humanitarian aid in Germany. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Student Assistant to join our MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning) team.
About the Role
We are looking for a student with a strong interest in development policy and a passion for working in a dynamic team. As a Student Assistant, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in various projects, including evaluations, impact reporting, and surveys.
Your Responsibilities
- Evaluation Management: Assist in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of evaluations
- Updating internal monitoring systems: Ensure that our systems are up-to-date and accurate
- Updating Internal Knowledge Management systems: Contribute to the development of our knowledge management systems
- Meeting, Workshop and Event-Management: Support the team in organizing meetings, workshops, and events
- Creating/editing presentations: Develop engaging presentations for various stakeholders
Your Profile
- You are currently enrolled at a university/college, ideally in the field of social sciences, economics, or international relations
- You have excellent computer skills, especially in Office applications such as MS Teams & Sharepoint
- You are characterized by a high degree of organizational diligence as well as a conscientious, precise, and reliable way of working
- You enjoy activities in the context of development policy, including the analysis of data and visualization of results
- Very good spoken and written English and French language skills are required, German language skills are an asset
