About this role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sourcing Specialist Labor & Services to be located in Stade, Germany. As a key contributor at Dow, you'll shape value by identifying sourcing opportunities, crafting strategic approaches, and nurturing supplier relationships. Your expertise in the field will guide colleagues, while your ability to tackle complex challenges and build consensus will drive success.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize business acumen and leverage best practices to drive value from the market and influence stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the negotiation, execution, and implementation of commercial agreements and related work processes in accordance with the strategies within the commercial area and/or geography.
  • Use influential leadership to elevate the performance of the workgroup.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (Relevant Discipline).
  • Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines.
  • Solves complex problems.
  • Works independently, receives minimal guidance.
  • May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
