At ZEISS, we're pushing the boundaries of what's possible in medical imaging. As a student researcher, you'll join our team of experts in developing cutting-edge microscope-integrated optical coherence tomography (OCT) devices for medical applications.

• Test and evaluate concepts, core functionalities, and visualization conceptions for OCT hardware and software
• Research existing solutions in the scientific and patent literature and tailor solutions to our needs
• Collaborate with our team of researchers and engineers to develop innovative medical imaging solutions

• Bachelor's degree and enrollment in a master's program in mechanical, electrical, or biomedical engineering, optics and photonics, computer science, physics, or a related field
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, Matlab, or CUDA
• First-hand experience with OCT devices and signal processing algorithms is a plus
• Excellent organization, problem-solving, and communication skills (English and/or German)
