**Job Summary**
Kurita Europe GmbH is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Safety Assistant to join our Product Safety team in Germany. As a Product Safety Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe use of our products and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile and maintain safety data sheets for our products, ensuring compliance with REACH and GHS/CLP-Regulation.
- Classify and label our products according to ADR/RID/ADN, IMDG, and IATA-DGR regulations.
- Assess and implement marketability blocks due to regulatory restrictions, such as Dual Use.
- Manage master data in SAP BOne Hana and maintain a substance inventory.
- Provide consulting services to internal and external business partners on product stewardship topics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a comparable field.
- At least 3 years of work experience in product stewardship and/or regulatory affairs.
- Sound knowledge of CLP regulation, UN-GHS, and the compilation of EU safety data sheets.
- Software skills: experience with a SDS compilation software, preferably CHEMDOX, SAP BOne Hana, and MS Office.
- Very good written and spoken English, with very good knowledge of German an advantage.
