Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team at the cash desk. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the smooth operation of the cash desk and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a retail sales background or experience working in a customer-facing role is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating the cash register.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
