Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Schauenburg Hose Technology GmbH.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage IT systems in our data center, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance and maintain our IT infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SQL, Windows clients, Exchange Online, and Citrix Workspace.
  • Provide technical support for network infrastructure at external locations, ensuring seamless connectivity and minimal downtime.
  • Ensure data backups in virtual environments using VEEAM, guaranteeing business continuity and data integrity.
  • Offer first- and second-level support for client systems, resolving technical issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Create and maintain accurate system documentation, facilitating knowledge sharing and process improvement.
  • Collaborate with external partners and service providers to ensure smooth operations and optimal results.
  • Contribute to the development of IT and communication systems, driving innovation and process enhancements.

Requirements

  • Completed IT education or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in IT system administration and support.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft server environments and client environments.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux administration.
  • Practical experience in virtualization using VMware.
  • Excellent network skills, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WLAN, and routing.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
  • Occasional travel within Germany may be required.
