About the Role

As a key member of our Corporate Sector Lending team at ING Deutschland, you will play a crucial role in advising our corporate customers on sustainable and innovative financing projects. Your expertise will be essential in structuring transactions, preparing credit applications, and negotiating the legal framework with customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise customers from the German "Mittelstand" and multinational clients on lending transactions, utilizing your expertise, spirit, and communication skills.
  • Take the lead in all aspects of lending transactions, from financial analysis to structuring and closing, ensuring high-quality documentation and negotiation of legal frameworks.
  • Manage portfolios, prioritize profitability, and maintain a strong focus on quality, while working collaboratively with national and global teams.
  • Generate new leads and invitations for transactions through effective teamwork and client coverage, ensuring the transfer of knowledge on product and market development.
  • Act as a mentor and coach, supporting the development of your team members and implementing sustainability goals and active balance sheet management.
Requirements
  • Very good degree in economics or similar qualifications.
  • Several years of professional experience and exceptional accomplishments in a transaction-driven environment.
  • Profound knowledge of financial markets, operating capital solutions, and structured lending products, as well as negotiating, structuring, and implementing lending transactions.
  • Excellent analytical mindset, negotiating skills, and a strong entrepreneurial approach.
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
