Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our METRO LOGISTICS team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing ad hoc projects and complex tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the analysis and problem-solving for specific topics
  • Analyze and re-engineer forecast processes between countries and center
  • Review and follow-up on action plans with individual country support
  • Organize and manage structured events and workshops, including agenda preparation, scheduling, logistics, and connectivity
  • Evaluate policies to ensure compliance with corporate rules and mission
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other staff
  • Follow up and track personnel expenses and administrative topics (travel, holidays plan, invoices check) for the department
  • Support the agenda of the global director
  • Coordinate and update communication through different channels regarding the department
  • Plan, organize, and interface management

Requirements

  • University degree or similar qualification
  • 5+ years of working experience, with a significant part in an operational unit/office
  • Knowledge and understanding of operational processes at an international level
  • Knowledge and understanding of common sourcing value chain
  • Experience in executive assistant roles and event management
  • Excellent German language, fluent English language skills
  • Attentive to detail and structured personality
  • Exceptional initiative and strong analytical thinking
  • Customer focus and flexibility to deliver efficient solutions
  • Desire to work in a dynamic and challenging global environment
