Your expertise will help us maintain the highest standards of corporate responsibility and accountability, while also driving business growth and success.

Your Impact

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our Controllers team in Frankfurt. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing assurance on the integrity of our financial reporting process, increasing corporate responsibility and accountability, and improving the quality and transparency of our financial and regulatory reporting. You'll also collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify risks and develop mitigants, and implement solutions to uplift the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of our data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assurance on the integrity of the financial reporting process to GSBE's Senior Management
  • Increase corporate responsibility and accountability regarding the production of accurate financial statements/reports
  • Improve the quality and transparency of financial and regulatory reporting upon which external stakeholders rely
  • Support management's certification regarding the accuracy and completeness of financial reports
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders within the firm to identify risks and develop mitigants
  • Implement solutions to uplift the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of our data
Requirements
  • Academic degree in business administration or finance
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a regulatory environment, preferably in the financial industry in Germany or a SSM country
  • Business fluency in English, German language skills beneficial
  • Knowledge of European/German regulatory rules
  • Attention to detail and time management essential skills for this role
  • A control-oriented mindset
  • Strong computing skills – comfortable with large data sets
  • Strong communication – ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to a broad range of people across the Firm at various levels of seniority
  • Self-motivated and proactive – Ability to run with issues, get involved hands-on, and provide constant high-quality feedback
