Job Summary:
Excelerate is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Germany. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure high-performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement network architecture and design to meet business requirements
- Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure aligns with business objectives
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements to our network infrastructure
Requirements:
- Fluency in German (B2/C1 minimum) and English (Professional)
- Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience with network management tools, such as Jira and Ekahau AI Pro Software
- Knowledge of load balancing, security, VPN IPsec, VoIP, and remote access technologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Wi-Fi design and implementation
- Knowledge of ITIL fundamentals and incident, problem, and change management
- Experience with infrastructure technical support, field maintenance, and installations
