Tourism Management Professor

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly qualified Tourism Management Professor to join our team at IMC Fachhochschule Krems. As a senior academic leader in tourism, you will be responsible for teaching in English and German, conducting applied research projects, and supervising Bachelor and Master theses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach in English and German in our Bachelor and Master programmes
• Conduct applied research projects related to the main research areas of the Department of Business
• Supervise Bachelor and Master theses
• Cultivate contact to regional and international cooperation partners

Requirements:

• University degree (PhD or equivalent) or shortly before completing the doctorate
• Experience/expertise in Tourism Management
• Interest in and openness to trans- and interdisciplinary approaches and topics in research and teaching
• University teaching experience
• Experience of conducting research projects and attracting third-party funding
• Strong publication record and active member of the scientific community
• Excellent English and German (min. C1 Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
