About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Architect to join our team at SVA. As a Cloud Security Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud-based solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks in cloud-based projects
  • Develop and implement comprehensive cloud security strategies and architectures
  • Focus on securing cloud platforms and integrating them with on-premises environments
  • Work as a generalist to understand and address all aspects of the overall architecture
  • Support clients in their projects, including assessments and reviews, to identify and address security concerns early on
  • Actively collaborate and contribute to agile cloud security teams

Requirements

  • A relevant degree in a field such as computer science, information technology, or a related field
  • Extensive experience as an IT security architect and experience in implementing complex security concepts
  • Strong interest in topics such as IAM, Zero Trust, cloud security, SASE, and CSPM
  • Desirable: certifications from cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, as well as knowledge of relevant security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, BSI-Grundschutz, or BSI C5)
  • Curiosity, strong learning ability, creativity, and enthusiasm for developing new ideas
  • Strong customer and service orientation, team skills, openness, and willingness to travel within Germany
  • Excellent communication skills with very good German (C1 or higher) and English (B2 or higher) language skills
