Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support our team in the procurement of raw materials and components for the automotive industry. The successful candidate will work closely with our suppliers to ensure that we receive the right materials at the right time and at the right price.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and ensure smooth procurement processes
  • Negotiate price and delivery conditions, including all relevant service level agreements, as well as purchase contracts and long-term agreements on a national and international level
  • Purchase technical parts and components for all areas of brabus automotive GmbH
  • Generate and negotiate potential for savings to optimize the overall cost situation
  • Be responsible for the performance of suppliers regarding timeliness, quality, and conditions, as well as for the implementation of risk management
  • Track delivery dates and enter order confirmations
  • Analyze demand, determine order quantities, and set delivery dates
  • Maintain master data and creditor master data
  • Ensure part supply in special projects
  • Regularly participate in planning-relevant meetings
  • Establish standards in the area of disposition
Requirements
  • Completed commercial training combined with several years of experience in procurement, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Outstanding negotiation skills combined with a high degree of self-initiative
  • Experience in supplier management and negotiation
  • Very good knowledge of procurement processes, tools, and KPIs
  • Confident and convincing appearance with communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent German and English skills in speech and writing
  • Safe handling of ERP systems (Business Central knowledge an advantage) and MS Office applications
