About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team at Utimaco. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions using C++ and network protocols.

Your Tasks

  • Design and develop software solutions using C++ and network protocols.
  • Collaborate with the development team to develop complex software modules.
  • Develop software according to the product roadmap and implement customized projects with individual customer requirements.
  • Optimize software performance for handling large amounts of data.

Your Profile

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent knowledge and practical experience in C++.
  • Experience with Python and Bash is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with code analysis and optimization tools such as Clang and Valgrind.
  • Knowledge of network protocols and programming of corresponding applications.
  • Experience with complex client-server architectures.
  • Experience with Subversion on Linux systems and environments.
  • Database knowledge, ideally in connection with PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent English language skills in written and spoken form.
