Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our EMEIA HR team in Germany. As a key member of our team, you will develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals to engage, attract, motivate, and retain top talent. You will collaborate with global HR teams and act as a local HR expert, building strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring positive employee relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Planning: Partner with retail management to analyze workforce trends and develop HR strategies that drive business growth.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management: Collaborate with the relevant COEs on recruitment, onboarding, training, and career development to build a high-performing team.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement: Foster a positive work environment, address employee concerns, and use engagement survey results to develop plans to improve employee satisfaction.
  • Performance Management: Guide managers through performance review, provide support to implement improvement plans, and promote a culture of continuous feedback.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Partner with the Reward COE to ensure competitive compensation practices that attract and retain top talent.
  • Organisational Development: Support change management, promote diversity and inclusion, and lead initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Track HR metrics, provide reports and insights as required, and use data to inform decision-making.
  • Coaching: Support and coach line managers on HR issues to ensure effective people management.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a HR Business Partner is essential.
  • Experience of working effectively with works councils and trade unions would be an advantage.
  • Experience in managing employee relations, including conflict resolution.
  • Ability to use data and analytics to drive decision-making and HR initiatives.
  • Experience in the luxury retail industry is advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Good knowledge of HR best practice and labour law.
  • Fluency in German and English is essential.
