About the Opportunity

We are seeking an entrepreneurial executive to join our startup accelerator program at soonami GmbH. As an Executive in Residence, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our portfolio companies and driving innovation in the web3 and AI space.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in blockchain development, decentralized applications, smart contract development, or web development skills, with a strong understanding of decentralized finance (DeFi). Experience in gaming or AI is also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the soonami Venturethon, a rigorous 12-15 week program that includes building part of the MVP/basic framework in a 10-day sprint and improving the product based on feedback from our team.
  • Work closely with our investment committee to identify potential investments and provide strategic guidance to portfolio companies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and entrepreneurs.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a related field, such as venture capital, private equity, or corporate development.
  • Proven track record of identifying and investing in successful startups.
  • Strong network of contacts in the web3 and AI ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
