Job Requirements

Your Role

We are launching highly strategic, exciting projects with some of the largest financial institutions in the world to solve a sustainability data problem through our technology offering. These projects aim to transform how companies share sustainability data with the financial sector and alleviate significant reporting burdens.

To execute on these projects and chart the next commercial growth phase of the company, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced project manager to support client stakeholder management.

You will be part of our Client Success team within ESG Book, reporting directly into the company's senior management team. You'll work directly with our sales team and clients to determine how to deploy our data and technology solutions to fit their needs and train their teams to work with and integrate the data effectively.

Simultaneously, you'll organize and relay client needs to the product management team to help shape how our offering evolves.

As a Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to represent the company externally with senior clients and work with a variety of internal stakeholders to execute on our vision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with clients and manage their expectations, demands, or concerns.
  • Solve diverse problems with enthusiasm, creativity, an analytical mindset, and purpose.
  • Work independently, asking for guidance when needed, and utilizing available toolsets to come up with answers.
  • Be efficient in your work, with a good grasp of technology and common software, and always looking for tricks or new tools to get the job done more efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related discipline (e.g., finance, business, economics, environmental studies).
  • 2-7 years' professional experience in a client-facing function in a fast-paced working environment, preferably in the financial services and consulting industries.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical and quantitative topics to a range of stakeholders, and manage expectations and concerns.
  • Native-speaking level in German and English.
  • Strong project management and execution experience.
  • Superior proficiency/skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and mindset.
  • Motivation: self-starter, entrepreneurial, ability to work independently.
  • Versatility: able to work on multiple projects under time-constraints.
