About the Team

The SAP esports team collaborates with partners in the esports ecosystem to position SAP. We showcase how to use SAP software in the digital native sport to build an analytics platform for professional teams. This platform enables analysts and coaches to track player and opponent performance, fueling data-driven strategies.

The Role

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop AI models using state-of-the-art techniques for analyzing esports data.
  • Test the applicability of these models and refine them as needed.
  • Collaborate with analysts and coaches to understand their needs and provide data-driven strategies.
  • Integrate successful models into the analytics platform for Team Liquid's League of Legends team.

Requirements

You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We're looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful, innovative projects and excel at applying theoretical knowledge in the real world.

  • Currently studying in a relevant field such as computer science, data science, or machine learning.
  • Strong programming skills, preferably in Python.
  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques and frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Knowledge of statistics and data analysis techniques.
  • Basic understanding of the game League of Legends.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
