About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud-Native Full Stack Developer to join our team at BASF Digital Solutions GmbH. As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for architecting and developing cutting-edge solutions for digitalization of production and operational technology within BASF.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and reliable cloud-native applications using software development, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation.
- Develop modern cloud-native applications based on popular open-source projects and established best practices.
- Implement advanced DevOps approaches, designing and operating cloud-native applications based on Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize, REST, and gRPC.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions compliant with cloud-native standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to software providers and implementation partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering, Physics, or a comparable field.
- Minimum 5 years of related working experience in agile environments.
- Deep understanding of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) ecosystem and distributed system design.
- Advanced skills in at least one backend development programming language, such as C#, Go, C++, or Rust.
- Experience in industrial production and operational technology is a plus.
- Fluent English skills and a strong drive to acquire new skills and learn about new technologies.
