YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement innovative solutions in the field of process control systems, production management systems, and process automation.
• Collaborate with our production teams to implement and roll out cutting-edge applications in automation and digitalization.
• Evaluate and implement concepts for the implementation of Industry 4.0 and digitalization and connectivity solutions in the field of automation technology.
• Share your expertise and support the project acquisition and customer care on a professional level.
• Set new standards by working independently and supporting the technology development and roll-out of digitalization and automation applications in our production facilities at our Schwarzheide site.
• Document customer-specific technical, operational, and economic requirements for automation and communication solutions with a focus on MES, IoT, automation infrastructure, and Industry 4.0.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with IP-based communication networks.
• Knowledge of conceptual planning and integration of digitalization and platform solutions at the interface between automation technology and IT.
• Familiarity with IT and automation technologies and a basic understanding of IT/OT security aspects.
• Conceptual, analytical thinking, high customer orientation, strong communication skills, and the ability to drive results, as well as interest in innovations in digitalization and automation technology.
