We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Department Head to lead our FVL International transport team at GLOVIS Europe GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing transportation plans by road, rail, and short-sea out of automotive factories in Central Europe.

• Transportation Planning: Develop and implement transportation plans to ensure efficient and timely delivery of vehicles to customers.
• Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact transportation plans, including the development of new routes and solutions.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of logistics professionals to achieve departmental targets and objectives.
• Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve transportation processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders.

• Experience: 7-10+ years of experience in logistics and a leadership position.
• Education: Preferred background in Finished Vehicle Logistics, SCM, Logistics, or Transportation Management.
• Skills: Strong planning and organizing skills, ability to make prompt judgments and take decisive action, excellent problem-solving capabilities, and comprehensive market understanding.
