Design Engineer for Magnetic Couplings and Mechanical Seals

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at Freudenberg, where you will play a crucial role in designing magnetic couplings and mechanical seals for our business unit.
Key Responsibilities- Design magnetic couplings and mechanical seals in accordance with customer specifications and applicable guidelines.
- Prepare and review design-relevant documents, including production drawings and parts lists.
- Collaborate with application engineering, sales, and customer contact persons to ensure technical clarity.
- Execute drawing modifications and prepare design-relevant calculations.
- Support product management in engineering-related tasks and participate in the technical and organizational development of the IMSS area.
- Completed studies or technician/master craftsman degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable discipline.
- Experience in designing high-precision mechanical components, preferably with knowledge in sealing technology and pumps/agitators.
- Several years of professional experience in designing mechanical seals, with experience in magnetic couplings/plain bearings being a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of 3D-CAD, preferably SolidEdge/Teamcenter, and SAP.
- Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English in writing and speaking.
- High degree of motivation and willingness to learn, with a willingness to travel internationally.
