Petroplan is seeking an experienced Project Developer to join our team in Berlin, Germany. As a Project Developer, you will be responsible for identifying suitable project areas, negotiating with landowners, and acquiring land for renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the development of wind and photovoltaic projects and manage coordination with external development partners.
- Establish the project structure, coordinate scheduling, and manage documentation throughout the project development cycle until the project is ready to build.
- Negotiate and assist in drafting leasing, utilization, design, and urban development contracts with landowners and authorities.
- Represent the company, promote the project, and obtain necessary commitments.
- Several years of professional experience in the development and acquisition of onshore wind and/or photovoltaic projects in the German market.
- Extensive network in the wind and solar industry with excellent knowledge of the market situation in Germany, particularly in Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Saxony, and Saxony-Anhalt.
- Sound experience in evaluating wind and/or photovoltaic projects across all development phases.
- Native German and fluent in English; Spanish language skills are a plus.
