Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Air Spring Design Specialist to join our team in Frankfurt am Main. As a key member of our European R&D and manufacturing center, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative air spring systems for various automotive applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of high-quality air spring systems, leveraging our expertise as a leading OEM supplier.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of air spring systems into vehicles, optimizing performance and comfort.
  • Utilize cutting-edge technologies and materials to enhance the quality, durability, and efficiency of air spring products.
  • Ensure that air spring systems meet rigorous technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations, contributing to vehicle safety and reliability.
  • Provide technical leadership and support to internal teams and external partners, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in automotive technology, driving continuous improvement and innovation in air spring systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in the design and development of air spring systems for automotive or related industries.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tool.
  • Strong understanding of suspension systems, pneumatic components, and automotive dynamics.
  • Experience with testing and validation methodologies for automotive components.
  • Passion for automotive technology and a drive to make a positive impact on the lives of people around the world.
