Director of Product Development

THRYVE is seeking a seasoned Director of Product Management to lead the development and execution of our product roadmap. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through innovative product strategies and delivering exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with business goals and customer needs.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing product management team, setting clear objectives and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Product Development: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and research to launch and post-launch analysis.
- Collaboration and Partnership: Partner with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure products are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
- Market Analysis and Competitive Landscape: Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and drive product differentiation.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Establish and track KPIs to measure product success, identify areas for improvement, and optimize product performance.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a key advocate for the product within the company, aligning stakeholders and ensuring that product initiatives are prioritized and executed effectively.
- Product Portfolio Management: Manage the product portfolio and make data-driven decisions on product investments, resource allocation, and product lifecycle management.
- Customer and Partner Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers to gather insights and ensure product-market fit.
- Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to build brand awareness and thought leadership.
- 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in a high-growth tech environment.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and scaling product teams and delivering innovative digital products to market.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with experience in developing and executing product strategies that drive business growth.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, product development processes, and best practices.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence and communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in managing product P&L and making data-driven decisions on product investments.
- A customer-centric mindset with a passion for understanding user needs and delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is a plus.
