SAP S/4HANA Procurement Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Lead to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our Grid Technology division, you will play a crucial role in unifying and regulating procurement solutions globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Map the IT landscape for procurement processes across various locations, identifying tools and processes used
  • Compare different tools and processes, assessing the feasibility of implementing them in SAP S/4HANA and outlining pros and cons
  • Collaborate with Execution Units to develop a reference architecture for each unit and establish standards for global implementation
  • Prepare fundamental information for each process and tool, working with factory procurement representatives to determine global standards
  • Support individual rollouts of S4E's Procurement processes, providing consultation, requirements definition, and user training
  • Examine gaps in the Procurement Template, suggest strategies to bridge disparities, and deliver expertise in procurement procedures for operational excellence
  • Address and resolve procurement issues within factory settings, offering insights on purchasing documentation and ensuring data precision
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering or Information Technology and at least 3 years of experience in Procurement
  • Extensive professional experience with procurement methods and processes within a global company
  • In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, preferably also with SAP Ariba
  • Strong communication and change management skills with a talent for inspiring and motivating people
  • Strong data analysis skills in Power BI and Microsoft Excel
  • Flexibility to travel and stay at factory and office locations to conduct training and assess process compliance
  • Fluent command of English and German languages in writing and speaking
