About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled EMC Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team at Segula Technologies GmbH. As an EMC Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of our automotive components testing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement laboratory procedures for automotive components testing, ensuring compliance with ISO 11452 and UN ECE R10 requirements.
- Create a roadmap for automotive components testing accreditation by DAkkS according to ISO 17025.
- Provide quality assurance for current and future laboratory work processes, ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 and EMC-related standards.
- Perform trial EMC tests of automotive components according to ISO 11452 and UN ECE R10.
- Review test plans for feasibility, completeness, and plausibility.
- Coordinate and implement development-related audits.
- Conduct root cause analysis for tests with NOK results and document test results.
- Prepare test reports with risk assessments.
- Introduce new EMC and electrical test procedures, with ISTQB certification being an advantage.
- Collaborate in the implementation of laboratory-specific measures and tasks.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of practical experience in automotive EMC testing and in-depth knowledge of EMC standards: UN ECE R10, ISO 11451/11452, CISPR 12/16/25, IEC 61000 series.
- Successfully completed university studies in RF/EMC technology, electrical engineering, communications engineering, automotive engineering, physics, or comparable qualification.
- Experience in project management and laboratory quality control according to ISO 17025.
- Knowledge of vehicle type approval regulations according to UN ECE R10.
- Experience with automotive OEM EMC standards is desired.
- Fluent English and German (desired).
