Excellence in Rheumatology

The Rheumatology Section at the University Clinic for Internal Medicine I is a leading center for the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory rheumatic diseases. As a specialist in internal medicine and rheumatology, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of rheumatic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage patient care in the outpatient and inpatient settings, with a focus on the ASV and HSA clinics
  • Supervise and train assistant physicians and staff
  • Contribute to translational research in clinical and experimental rheumatology
  • Participate in teaching and administrative duties

Requirements

  • Board certification in internal medicine and rheumatology
  • Relevant experience in rheumatological and immunological diagnosis and treatment, as well as leadership and management skills
  • Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration with various clinics on the Kiel campus
  • Knowledge of joint sonography, capillaroscopy, and osteology, as well as a passion for clinical and experimental rheumatology
  • High level of engagement, responsibility, and professional communication and social skills
