About the Role

As a Senior Metrology Engineer at ZEISS Group, you will play a crucial role in shaping the digital future of our company. You will be part of the Global Algorithms & Software Semiconductor Mask Solutions team, where you will utilize your sophisticated algorithms to evaluate enormous amounts of image data in a highly efficient manner.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly accurate measurement processes in expert teams, from conceptual design to implementation and performance evaluation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence in optical product performance.
• Support the knowledge exchange within the team, technically steer complex development projects, and impact technology strategies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to drive business growth.

Your Profile

• Excellent expertise in optical metrology, calibration, and tuning.
• Intensive practical experience in commissioning complex measurement systems.
• Optical simulations or optics design experience.
• Very good experience in system specifications and error-budgeting.
• Great programming skills in Python or comparable languages.
• Great passion to successfully solve complex and difficult problems independently and in teams.
• Very good German (B2 or above) and English skills.
