About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Workload Manager to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our digital business, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the Sales and Operations Planning of our rapidly expanding business in the DACH region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic execution and provide footprint recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Coordinate with other Alstom sites for collaborative efforts and ensure alignment between workforce demand and planned capacity.
  • Drive Sales and Operations Planning within the DACH region, advising on strategic directions and preparing growth scenarios.
  • Communicate with DACH and other regional management teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and information sharing.
  • Liaise with global headquarters for S&OP topics, ensuring alignment with company-wide objectives.
Requirements
  • A university degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in Project Management/Planning/S&OP or as a management/strategy consultant.
  • A data-driven mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of the railway business or ETCS/CBTC technologies or signalling infrastructure is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Proficiency in English and German.
