Hydrogen Business Development Specialist

Transforming the Energy Sector with Hydrogen
You will be part of our product and business development team for hydrogen and climate-friendly ammonia, supporting the energy transition and the transformation of our company towards climate-friendly solutions. This role involves developing products for our customers and acting as an interface between sales managers and the procurement of green raw materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative sales strategies for green hydrogen from advanced H2 projects
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the hydrogen energy market, including potential customers and strategic partners
- Coordinate and participate in the creation of H2 business contracts and letters of intent
- Support the development of new product features based on market feedback, together with the team
- Question and optimize business cases for hydrogen with input from various teams
- Advise potential customers and obtain feedback on our solutions
- Conduct training and presentations on our products, both internally and externally
Requirements
- Degree in business administration or economics, engineering, or industrial engineering, or comparable training
- Several years of professional experience in the development of new products, sales strategies, and/or business development
- Experience in the conceptual development of new business ideas and knowledge of negotiating and drafting customer contracts
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers across all levels
- Entrepreneurial personality with the ability to combine different customer needs and market developments into new business opportunities
- Strong expertise and network in one or more of the following industries: steel, refineries, chemicals, glass/ceramics, or strong sales experience
- Fluency in German and English, other foreign languages an advantage
