EUROAPI is a leading provider of pharmaceutical active ingredients (APIs), which was spun off from Sanofi on May 6, 2022, and listed on the EURONEXT. Our goal is to become a global champion for API solutions and Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO).

We have a diverse portfolio of approximately 200 active ingredients for our API Solutions business and CDMO activities. With over 150 years of experience in the API market, more than 3,350 employees, and a consolidated revenue of around €1 billion in 2023, EUROAPI has six production sites and development centers equipped with state-of-the-art technology, all located in Europe (France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, and the UK).

We are seeking an experienced and talented Project Engineer to join our team at our Frankfurt-Höchst production site. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading complex projects from inception to production standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical leadership of complex plant engineering projects in the field of pharmaceutical active ingredient production.
  • Assigning and supervising internal departments and external service providers to support project execution.
  • Technical processing of projects from planning to handover to operations.
  • Creation of tender documents (specification, etc.) and evaluation of offers, as well as conducting tender negotiations.
  • Concept development in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
  • Conducting feasibility studies and cost estimates, including scheduling and technical elaboration.
  • Coordination of various trades and external companies in planning and execution.
  • Development and further development of methods and suitable tools to improve process efficiency.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Degree in Process Engineering/Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience, preferably in the execution of chemical-pharmaceutical plant engineering projects.
  • Experience in creating/developing flowcharts and equipment design.
  • Familiarity with Ex-Protection, Machinery Directive, Occupational Safety and Health Act, and GMP is an advantage.
  • Structured and solution-oriented working style.
  • No fear of new challenges/subject areas.
  • Self-motivated action.
  • Good communication and team skills.
  • Good German and English language skills.
