About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our team at Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA. As a key member of our Data Management and Business Intelligence team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive data architectures that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: You will be responsible for developing and designing data architectures that are tailored to the needs of our clients, with a focus on Microsoft Azure technologies.
- Consulting and Analysis: You will work closely with our clients to understand their business requirements and design customized solutions that meet their needs.
- Leadership and Teamwork: As a Data Architect, you will be a key liaison between technical implementation and business strategy, providing technical guidance and support to our Data Engineers and Analysts to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
- Technical Innovation: You will stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in Data Management and Business Intelligence, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement, and ensuring that our services are continuously enhanced.
Requirements
- Experience and Expertise: You have a degree in Computer Science or a related field, and at least five years of experience in designing data architectures, preferably in the Microsoft Azure space. You have a strong understanding of Big Data/Database technologies, data integration, and Business Intelligence.
- Customer Focus: You have excellent communication skills and are able to effectively engage with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their business objectives.
- Leadership Skills: You have experience in leading technical teams and are able to motivate and develop team members to achieve excellence.
- Problem-Solving Skills: You are able to analyze complex technical challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Certifications: Microsoft Azure certifications or equivalent qualifications are highly desirable.
