About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer / IT Consultant to join our team at SVA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our IT projects from the presales phase to implementation and product introduction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive storage concepts based on customer requirements.
  • Position and represent the Hitachi portfolio to customers, providing technical support and expertise to the sales team.
  • Design and deliver detailed presentations and product demonstrations for customers.
  • Participate in customer webcasts as a speaker, sharing Hitachi-specific topics with a wider audience.
  • Opportunity to acquire missing certifications and develop professionally within the SVA team.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a completed IT-relevant training, e.g., as a (Fach-)Informatiker.
  • Good knowledge of analysis, conception, and optimization of complex storage environments.
  • Strong enthusiasm for Hitachi Vantara and proven, in-depth knowledge of the Hitachi-Vantara-Technology-Portfolio with a focus on storage solutions Block (VSP), File (HNAS), and Object (HCP).
  • Act as a proactive motivator, taking responsibility and initiative rather than just following.
  • Enjoy working in a team and have high team and cooperation skills, combined with a high degree of temporal and spatial flexibility.
  • Excellent communication skills with very good German (Level C1 or higher) and English (Level B2 or higher) knowledge.
