We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our team at JUPUS, a leading legal tech startup in Germany. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python/Django and/or other relevant technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions using Python/Django and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to functional requirements, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Debug and optimize existing and new code for maximum speed and scalability, leveraging expertise in software development methodologies.
  • Maintain code integrity and organization, ensuring that all software solutions meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Requirements
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Software Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Python/Django and/or other relevant technologies, with a solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in English, with German being a plus, as we are a German-based company.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, with experience in designing and implementing complex software systems.
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, with experience in managing and maintaining large codebases.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve common goals.
  • Experience with databases, web servers, and UI/UX design is a plus, as we are a technology-driven company.
