Job Summary

As an Assistant Store Manager at Primark, you will play a key role in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will support the Store Manager in managing the daily operation of the store, maximizing sales, and maintaining store standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Develop and lead a high-performing team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure excellent customer service and store standards.
  • Commercial Acumen: Analyze sales data and reports to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to drive sales and improve commercial performance.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers have an amazing experience in-store.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately ordered and maintained to meet customer demand.
  • Store Operations: Support the Store Manager in managing the daily operation of the store, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 4 years of prior experience in retail leadership, with a proven track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and reports to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Inventory Management: Experience in managing inventory levels, with a strong understanding of stock management principles.
  • Store Operations: Strong understanding of store operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
