About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Controller to join our team in Germany. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial processes of our German companies.

Your primary focus will be on financial reporting, forecasting, and preparing financial figures for the coming year. You will also assess the financial performance of our German companies and provide recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial reporting: Prepare monthly reports, forecasts, and financial figures for the coming year.
  • Operational reporting: Utilize data to define and track crucial KPIs for the business, providing insights for management to steer the business in the right direction.
  • M&A and strategic analyses: Participate in various development projects, including mergers and acquisitions, market research, business case modeling, and the development of business plans.
Requirements
  • Relevant university degree (e.g., MSc in Engineering or Economics and Business Administration) and 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proactive and capable of taking ownership of tasks, advancing complex projects independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to quickly grasp new concepts.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience in financial modeling.
  • General interest in business intelligence and analytics development.
